The 2000 FEHB Open Season will begin on
November 13 and run through December 11, 2000. During Open Season
employees can elect health coverage, change their plan or option, or
cancel enrollment. All Open Season elections and changes are
effective January 14, 2001. Open season cancellations are effective
January 13, 2001.
Employees will be able to input their own open season FEHB
election by using the Employee Express automated program. Processing
FEHB elections is done by either using the Office of Human Resources’
kiosk which is located in Crystal Park 1, Room 707, or by dialing
1-800-827-6281 from home, 1-912-757-3083 from work, or by accessing the
Employee Express web site at http://www.employeeexpress.gov.
In order to process their FEHB Open Season elections, employees must
have their Employee Express Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Employees that have misplaced or never received a PIN should call the
Employee Express HELP desk at 1-912-757-3030.
In addition, during FEHB Open Season, employees will have an
opportunity to elect to participate in Premium Conversion, if they have
previously waived participation, or may waive participation without
having a Qualifying Life Event.
Employees can change their participation in Premium Conversion
by completing a Premium Conversion Waiver/Election Form.
Forms are available in the Office of Human Resources, Crystal Park 1,
Suite 707 and must be returned to Office of Human Resources by December
11, 2000. All elections to participate in Premium Conversion or waive
participation will become effective January 14, 2001. Additional

Personnel Management (OPM) web site at http://www.opm.gov.
